These are really good...and healthy too! You really need to try these for yourself!
Chicken Pita Pizzas
Ingredients:
- Package of Pitas
- 1 small can of tomato sauce
- 2 cup bag mozzarella cheese
- green bell pepper, diced
- small zucchini squash, diced
- small onion, diced
- 2 mushroom, sliced (optional)
- 2 oz. chicken breast, cooked and diced
Preparation:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. In a small pan saute the peppers, mushrooms, onions and zucchini until tender. Place the pitas on a pizza pan, bottom side up. Spread the tomato sauce over the pita. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with sauteed veggies and cooked chicken. Place in the middle of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pitas are golden brown on the bottom.
*I also put black olives on mine.
